Liebster Blog Award

Wow
I was gobsmacked to think that anyone would be inspired by me, But to nominate me for a blog award wow. i am so honored. thank you so much to Sandra Azzopardi who gave me this and enjoys the work that i share with the blogging and stamping world

The Liebster Blog Award is an award given to encourage and support NEW blogs and help with directing some new traffic to their blogs … to help other bloggers discover what a FAB blog they are!

As a recipient of this award I must share the love and pay it forward by:

1- Create a post where I blog about the Liebster award & reveal my 3-5 blog picks
2- Let the honorees know that I selected them
3- Copy & paste the blog award on my blog

so my nominee for this are as follows
1. Arty- Farty Stuff
2. Stamping with Rachel
3. Stamp With Tam

The reasons why i have chossen these lovely ladies is that Katie Gill at arty farty stuff is one of my oldest freinds who i have known since yr7 (and come to think of it almost 20yrs). i have always been in awe of how talented katie is in all artistic aspects. she is also teaches High School Art so she is sharing Art and crafts with the next generations in the world

My second nominee is Rachel Jackson who is my stampin up demonstrator. She has helped my over the 2 yrs that i have known her to find my mojo again for cardmaking which has really helped me particularly i the last year where i have been very ill with a knee injury that has led me to having three surgery in the last 12 months. I have use card making to help me get through the tough times when i have been recovering and a lot of that comes from finding Rachel and getting back into Stampin up

My third nominee is for Tammy hanlon. She always leaves really nice coments on my blog for some of my challenges so i Thought that i would repay her an hopefully get some more people to share her blog as i love to visit tammys blog for inspiration.

Till next time
Rach

Baby Blanket #2

Hi
So Ive been a busy little bee today and finished another baby blanket, This one is for my Best friend Kaz who is Due in May , she is going to leave the sex of the baby as a surprise so this tummy time blanket is meant to be neutral being more Lemon, but i think its more girl than boy. I ended up making another Trip to spotlight in the afternoon and bought another cot panel that is more boy looking and i think that i might wait till the baby is born to give this one out. I also picked up some matirial for $3.50 a metre and am going to make Cotton Wraps that i will give kaz for her baby shower. all i have to do is overlock the sides.

Again I have used the just add ink challenge #56 to make the matching card for this blanket taking some of the colours and matching them with Stampin up colours and my owl punch

hope you like

baby blanket

hi
So If you read my blog you know that i have a million girlfriends who a pregnant right now and i have 3 baby showers coming up in the next few weeks. So i like to make something special for gifts that are unique and one of a kind and Im pretty good and sewing as long as its square (cushions, blankets, pillow cases table clothes) you get my drift....

So for my very close friends i like to make a tummy time blanket for there new addition. I went to spotlight this week and found these great fabrics for cot panels with matching material and found it really easy to whip up this tummy time blanket for my friend who is having a girl in April. So I also need a card i used the colors of the blanket and took some stampin up colours and my owl punch and whipped up a matching card which i have also used for an Inskpiration Challenge . Let me know what you think

Last night i whipped an an easel card which i have wanted to try for ages. Credit goes to the lovely and Creative Bronwyn Eastley who has just been announced as one of the caretakers of the Just and Ink Challenge blog as the lovely Amanda and Danielle step down. Congratulation Bron.

Please check out Bronwyns blog for this project

Just Add ink #54

Hi
This weeks just add ink challenge is a colour combination challenge.

When i looked at theses colours together i instantly thought of girly love.I was trying to pull off a valentines day card for my hubby but it just turned out too girly, think i might have to settle for dinner and a movie.
Here is the final result.

I've been dying to use my heart shaped treat cups. I was really trying to make a snow globe kind of card but the water leaked out of it so i decided to add a butterfly into the cup.
